Default !Foundation Brush!

Drugstores never have foundation brushes! I am so frustrated! M.A.C,Lancome, clinique, estee lauder....all those foundation brushes are like $35 and up that is so expensive for a foundation brush. I know it is a very important tool to have! very important....you all must have one. Sponges press makeup into pores and absorb most of the foundation, and fingers are oily and they press foundation into pores as well. But brushes glide smoothly just on that top layer of skin. I need one! where can i get one cheap!?

Yeah, that's the going price for all foundation brushes at all the brands.

To get the results you want, you need the right tools to get it.

You might try looking at an art supply store. I have used artists brushes for my makeup for years ... although I also have some specialty makeup brushes [like the loose powder brush].

If I'm thinking of the same sort of foundation brush you're thinking of, a reasonable fascimile can probably be found cheaper in the "art department".

Now ... they won't be "cheap" ... but you can get a natural bristle art brush for, say, $20 or less as opposed to $35. At least I have found this to be true.

You can take a look at the brush set that Mary Kay has to offer....It's a complete set of brushes for $45.00...It make be a litte more than what you are wanting to spend, but you get way more brushes for all needs for that amount, as appose to paying $35-$40 for one brush...Take a look at my website search for MK Signature Brush set and see if that may help!!Tia

Buy one at NYC Cosmetics: http://www.newyorkcolor.com/accessories/index.html. They are very inexpensive and fine quality. Plus, you can usually find NYC at most drug stores.

Also Avon and Quo have good brushes and so does Red Earth and reasonable prices.
