Hi there! I use bare escentuals, and I must say I simply love the concealer. My eyeshadow stays on forever, and I don't look tired but I'm not to impressed by the brushes.. they tend to loose hairs. the eyeshadows in minerals are a bit tricky to put on, but i love all the colours. and the blush is great, and the foundation. since they're pure, I can sleep with it. without waking up with blemishes.. but southern mongolian mineral makeup are great to! much cheaper also, but they have fewer products. have fun

Default My favorite mineral makeups

My favorites are Physicians Formula...they contain the EXACT same mineral composition as the more expensive Sheer Cover and Bare Essentials...how do I know this, you ask...LOL...I am a licensed Cosmetologist for over 30 years (and a certified Herbalist)and currently sell cosmetics retail...The least favorite is the Loreal brand of minerals...while they have a lot of colors the price for the amount you get is ridiculous...Physicians Formula has a whole line including concealers, blushes, shadows, foundations, eye pencils and even mineral mascara...the only brand of retail mineral lip color is by Sally Hansen and it's great...it contains tourmaline and shea butter with added Retinol...the colors are complimentary to most every skin tone...Cover Girl has also added mineral loose powder foundation to their line...these also contain the same ingredients as the expensive brands...if youm tan durning the summer you can save those little plastic spice jars with the shaker tops and mix your own colors...works great...

I'm currently using IsaDora mineral foundation, a Walgreens store brand.
It's the best drugstore mineral makeup I've tried. Very smooth application and lasts all day, and it's not terribly expensive.

Default Best Mineral Foundations I've tried

I've tried about 25 different brands of mineral makeup and the best ones I've found are Lumiere Minerals and Everyday Minerals. Lumiere has 4 different formulas of their minerals, Flawless, Veena Velvet, Cashmere, and Luminesse. I love the Veena Velvet, it's a little more matte than the others.
Everyday Minerals also has 4 different formulas, semi-matte, matte, intensive, and original glo. I use the intensive formula which gives me enough coverage so I don't need a concealer yet it looks natural. Both of these companies offer free sample kits to try different shades or formulas. You only pay shipping. Her's their web sites if you want to take a look
