Not sure exactly what kind you're referring to, but Urban Decay makes some really pretty shimmery shadows.

I love my Urban Decay eyeshadows! They're very pigmented and have some lovely shimmery and glittery shades. Also, with their eyeshadow Primer Potion they'll last all day without fading or creasing.

I would recommend MAC Pigments - a highly concentrated loose color powder, some shades are really shimmery and glittery, actually more suitable for special evenings rather than daytime wear.

I agree with the MAC pigments. They last a really long time, (which might take some sting out of the price), but they are well worth it. Now that I have tried pigments I really don't want to use anything else. Make sure you put a tissue under your eye to catch any sprinkles! There are some really wonderful shiny ones out there and you can build your color, carefully, to whatever you desire. Try them out! If you are shopping online for them, look for the ones that look really sparkley. Or you could go to a cosmetics counter and tell them what you want to try and they will help you find what you want and as a little bonus, they will even put one on you! Good luck!!

Barry M have some lovely loose powders. I think they are called Dazzle Dust. I'd recommend them. sounds like they are similar to MAC pigments, but I expect they're a little cheaper

I agree with both ellina and 1er woman, the M.A.C. loose pigments are the way to go. Not only do they have glitters, shimmers, and matte shades in their pigment franchise, they're all very highly pigmented and they last a very long time on the lid. Also a little product goes a long way, so the product will last many years.

I've tried other brands of loose pigments. They just don't have the same staying power, vibrancy, and range of shades as the M.A.C. pigments do.
