Default Foundation Primers

Hi,
I wondered if somone could suggest a good primer for mature, dry skin. I have been using ModelCo and it worked fine but I would like to try something else.
Any info or help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Peace

I loved Clarins - Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch Makeup Base , a bit pricey ( about $25 ) but great quality product. It makes your skin very soft, hides lines and large pores, and works as an oil free protector.
I read somewhere that The Body Shop has a great primer too, but haven't tried it yet.

... Pricey???

Are you kidding??? That's pretty cheap for a Clarins product. Try Photofinsh by Smashbox at $45... Now that's pricey... (I have 2 in my kit).

Now, if you paid $25 for a primer from lets say, L'Oreal or Covergirl, then yes, that'd be very pricey...

At $25, you're getting an awesome deal from Clarins and a great product.

Default Primer-- sounds weird but it's great

On another forum, I discovered the PERFECT primer that is cheap! Monistat anti-chafing gel. Yes, it's true

Read about it here:

I've never strayed beyond MAC's "Prep n Prime" myself, because it works tolerably well for my dry, middle age skin. If you're tired of the Clarins you might give it a shot...

First I want to say hello to the forum. I have been using Monistat anti-chafing gel for the last 2 weeks with combo oily skin, yes this works. I love it.

Gosh..so many great products out there. So wonderful to be a part of a forum that exchanges ideas and can give suggestions openly. Thought I would share about a favorite of the celebrities and their makeup artists... Photo Shoot. Really great. Softens fine lines and wrinkles, evens out skin tone and gives your skin a warm, flawless glow. Lovely! Contact me anytime if you would like more info. Thanks!
