Default Oily Skin and Makeup

Hey I was wondering if anyone has any tips for me. I think I have oily skin because i put on foundation and powder but then later in the day maybe a hour later my skin looks oily and sweaty. Also, I have used numbers of different kinds of makeup thinking it might just be the brand but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Then I started thinking it was the heat and maybe I was just sweaty, but it happens in the winter too... so please help; tell me what is wrong with my skin/makeup.

Use an oil control foundation such as Lancomes MAQUI-CONTROL. And an "oil-free" powder to set. Don't forget to blot throughout the day with your powder (and/or) your blotting papers.

Also, look for "oil-free" on the ingredient list on the packaging of any make up that you're considering purchasing.

As well as use a skin care regimen made for "oil skin" types.

This should be a good start, good luck

Also, you can use conditioned foundation and concealer-- like ones that have tea tree or witch hazel in them. I use concealer from the body shop. its good because it covers spots and helps them go away too!

Blotting papers are very good for us oily gals. I've tried several mattifiers but they really didn't work. I've heard using a thin layer of Milk Of Mag under your foundation can really help with the oily's. A good place to read about that would be at www.makeupalley.com you have to register to read the reviews but they have so many on so many different products it's worth it.

Have you tried a mineral makeup? They are so fun to try and have helped my oily skin. There are many different lines but the one I like the best is Pure Luxe (and she has cheap samples too!)
