Welcome to the forums, Brienza
If you wear no makeup, then you may look younger than what you are. So, start wearing makeup to look more mature (dont overdo it, learn correct techniques in case you don't). Also, get your hair long (over shoulder level is a must). Long hair tends to look more mature. And dont make a ponytail in case you do as that looks kiddish. Try letting your hairs loose and see if that helps you look more your age. I hope that helps ![]() Last edited by mishti : 08-15-2005 at 11:41 AM. |

Also, I believe that your sense of dressing and your body language plays an important role on the age you look. Get some decent, elegant dresses. Plus, walk and talk a little slower. That adds grace and you may look more mature

However to your question, focus on your eyes and a little lip gloss certainly won't hurt. Remember: A little goes a looooooooooonnnnng way. Good luck

Im one that looks a lot younger too, but if u learn how to do ur makeup and hair right then ur all set. Hair thats short/medium with lots of body or long hair (no bangs as this makes u look like a kid, unless the bangs are long and hang down the side of your face) makes u look more your age too! Have fun!! |

besides the above advice, make some mature friends (and stay away from childish ppl) as I think that will make you more mature overall!

Try straightening your hair and adding some lowlights and highlights but a bit more lowlights than highlights. This instantly adds maturity. Also mould your cheekbones with make-up by putting peach on the apples of your cheeks, a powder a shade darker than your natural tone underneath your cheekbones and a highlight extending from the apple of your cheek along your cheek bone and towards your temple. This should make you look older. Dressing smarter will also work; try a pair of tailored trouser or a smart skirt with one of your usual going-out tops.
