I am new to this board, but have read quite a few posts now and think this is a great place to come for information
I have always been very interested in makeup and love doing makeovers. I recently got a job as cosmetics manager at a store and am hoping that I will do a good job. I need your help though. My boss has asked me to put on a ladies makeover night and I am stuck for ideas. I have never been a manager before and haven't ever had to plan a ladies night. I can handle the makeup part (so I hope LOL), but would love to hear any ideas you have on making it a memorable night. I was thinking of things like having wine and cheese being served, goody bags, but I don't know what else to do. Anyone have any ideas that might help me out? Thanks in advance for ANY responses!! ![]() |

Can you get a "Rep from one of the lines you carry to come in and give advise and make overs as well, it just adds a little interest, and you could always sell tickets and make up some baskets of some very cool make up and skin care. Just a thought

Also, get the Reps from each brand or line to make baskets for raffling.
Refreshments are good as well as hiring a DJ, = music + He/she promoting make-up artists from each line. It get the artists to talk about what there're doing... (If they're not afraid of the mike...) Also, Selling tickets will guarantee people showing up. And try showcasing a make-up artist with a poster-sized picture of them. Just a couple of tips... ![]()
