I find sometimes the formula's change and it can cause some problems with certain individuals I use Rimmel and love it.

I agree, companies always change up their formulas every once-in-a-while.

*Steve* - Sounds like your eyes are sensitive to a certain ingredient they just added. Contact L'Oreal, give them the lot number and ask for the ingredient list for it.

I agree with vougeboy, I think your eyes are just becoming sensitive. There are lots of products just for this. I know almay has a sensitive eyes line. However, I have this problem sometimes, too. Maybe it's just allergies, and not the makeup at all.

The other possibility is that you're using mascara that's old. The older the eye makeup, the more likely it is to have picked up some crud/contaminants/bacteria. You might be risking an infection. Generally, you should not keep cosmetics that touch your eyes for more than a year (and some would say 6 months, though others go much longer without problems). Also, it's not ideal to share with others in case they (or you!) have any sort of infection that could be transmitted that way.

So if you're working from the same mascara for ages on end, try getting a new one and see if that helps.

Not washing your mascara off will weaken your eyelashes and cause them to break easily and worse, you might even get an eye infection. Using mineral oil will help remove your mascara easily.

You can try Blinc Mascara. It's not a typical mascara that coats your lashes...they actually create little tubes around your eyelashes. It lasts forever without smearing or smudging and I found it to be great for my sister who has the most sensitive eyes in the world. It doesn't give great volume but it does work.

this one time i had bought a mascara from a drug store that was in the clearance section it was marked down like 50% percent off and when i used it burned my eyes like crazy, i ended up throwing it away. But i did notice that it was kinda old, like packaging looked old so i am guessing that the reason it burned my eyes cause the mascara was old.
