Default I keep seeing more tips!!

On another board I saw a woman posted a video on YT with a new app. tip for BE.
She squirts a little Prime Time into a small bowl and adds a small amount of BE foundation to it. she swirls her KB brush around in it and buffs that on together.
I had to try this. I did not use a brush (did not want to mess up) So I tried it with my fingers..I gotta say,It worked! Just took some extra buffing. I think this is a great solution for the BE wintertime blues for me. I have combo skin so this was a great idea to me. I gotta go and try it again!! I am obsessed

Default Does BE Contain Bismuth Oxychloride?

I turned to mineral makeup since I have super sensative skin (which is quite annoying), but found that my skin responded poorly to it as well. Then I found that some mineral makeup products contain Bismuth Oxychloride, which can lead to irrated skin in some women. Anyone know if BE contains it?

Yes, it is in BE foundation. Here's their ingredient list, according to Ulta's website:

bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation: Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide, Mica, Bismuth Oxychloride, Iron Oxides

Bare Minerals and their BE brands both broke me out so badly that I had to see a dermatologist for almost a year. He explained to me that BE is the worst product you could ever put on your skin the bismuth content is so high and it clogs pores, creates cystic acne and irritates badly. I had to go 3 months with no makeup it was the worst time of my life. The only mineral makeup thatis sfae is bismuth free out of the ingredients list.

many people say the same thing as you, that they have a reaction to BE. Others love it and for me it never clogs my pores, the opposite for me ,my skin looks better when I stick with BE.
I guess everyone is different, the new matte BE I wonder if that ingredient is left out??? I'm going to have a look.
Sorry to hear you had to undo damage for an entire year!

I've heard a lot of people are sensitive to the Bismuth. My mom has very sensitive skin, too.

Have you tried the matte foundation? I wish I was closer to Sephora so I could just pop in and get a sample without having to place a big order to get free shipping. I haven't been shopping in Oklahoma City in months.

I started using Loreal Bare Naturale a few years ago,but the brush it came with always irritated my skin so I switched back to liquid foundation. And,recently I've been using Maybelline Mineral Power.

I tried LOreal Bare Naturale in the past. I didn't like the brush either. The brush was too small to get good coverage while the handle (which is actually the jar lid) was too big to fit comfortabley in my hand.

I haven't tried the Maybelline Mineral powder, although I've read other good reviews. I'll have to look into it.
Thanks!
