Yes, the trick to applying yellow concealers or "correctors" is to mix them with your concealer and/or foundation to reduce your particular shade of under-eye darkness while retaining your skin-tone.
Watch any movie on a 50 foot screen and you will see
every actor (male/female) who has this technique done. That's why their under-eyes don't look yellow or pasty looking, because their artists combine them.
If it works on the big-screen, it will certainly work in the real world (street make-up).
Just practice and tweak it until you get the desired result that you're looking for.
