Groom your brows. Even without any makeup, eyes look instantly wider when they're framed by groomed brows. See a pro for the perfect plucking, or try it yourself by using tweezers to remove any stray hairs under the arch of your brow. Fill in sparse spots with brow powder and a stiff brush, and comb into place with a brow comb.

Stick to light colors. Dark shadow shades make small eyes look even smaller. Instead, brighten things up with light colors. Bone, taupe, heather, and soft white are good choices for all skin tones. For liner, go with a deeper tone, but avoid a thick line of black or charcoal, which can actually close up the eye.

Shimmer softly. Another shadow trick: Use a shimmery formula, which reflects light and makes eyes pop. Pick a shadow with a subtle glimmer, but avoid very heavy frosts.

Curl and coat lashes. Curled lashes are the secret weapon in the fight against tiny-looking eyes. Gently clamp a lash curler at the base of top lashes and hold for at least 20 seconds. After curling, apply a coat -- or two -- of black curling mascara to boost the uplifting effect.

Here's my tip, delicately trace a light coloured liner (cream is good start, white might be too harsh, depending on your skin tone) on 3/4 of your eye from the inner halves outwards, then blend a slightly darker shimmery shade on the remaining 1/4 outer halves. Works for ALL eye shapes to make them look wider and larger.

U can also use eye shadow as eye liner........use soft color....n avoid thick application......u can use pencil or liquid eyeliner on upper lid n mix it by using eye shadow as eyeliner with different color.....

Use black mascara.....mascara gives an instant eye lift......

Pale colours like taupe and cream are good for widening eyes in both shadow and liner. Also highliter or shimmer cream along the brow line creates more space around the eyes. As well as this, you could wing out your eyeshadow and eyeliner to make your eyes look bigger and wider-set. Hope that helps! xx

Lynnlee has some great suggestions here... Artist's Tip #1

In addition to her's, I am going to suggest Artist's Tip #2

1) Use a medium tone or bright coloured eyeshadow, (I recommend bright colours) just in the crease area. And blend slightly under your brow bone.

2) Apply your highlighter as per usual on your brow bone, which will soften the ~ Top edge of your Crease colour ~.

3) Apply a curling formulation mascara, black... of course....

4) Forget the eyeliner... Your mascara will take care of this.

5) Apply concealer

If you wish to apply a white eyeliner to the bottom inner rim, you can. However, the lighter the touch, the better the look...

6) Take your white eyeliner and just very gently tap the tip to your inner rim. The colour should look like an opaque off whitish/pinkish tint.

A solid white liner will look way too garish looking...

A great example of this look/technique is to see Avril Lavigne's photoshoot in Stuff and Vanity Fair. And Kate Nauta (Transporter 2) on the back of her Munich-Models comp card.

Good luck with this look and have fun

Great...in Addition, dont use water-proof bright eye-liner formulas. They make ur eyes look small; dont give ur eyes wide look.
