I am extremely disappointed in Sheer Cover. Not only it didn't meet up the promise of its flawless finish and great coverage, its cheap, poorly made application brush is absolutely horrible. I received the order yesterday and was eager to try it out. I have a fairly nice skin tone with no major problems. The only thing it needs to be cover is few light freckles. Sheer Cover can't even cover it. And the hair/bristle from the brush kept falling off and stuck on my face. Literally, every circular motion I made, 3 to 4 bristle came up and glue onto my face!! I had to stop and pick up the bristle off my face so many times. In the end it took longer time to get ready with Sheer Cover than normal Oil-based cream foundation. I was hoping Sheer Cover would be better than Bare Mineral. However, the Bare Mineral is by far better. Their brush is soft and long-lasting. Sheer Cover's brush bristle is so hard; it actually hurt my face!!

Whoops...
This thread should be in the Beauty Product Reviews Forum. Thanks for the review though. ![]()

I was thinking of trying Bare Minerals, but I worry about what kind of coverage it would give. The applying with a brush is also questionable, because I'm so used to the traditional liquid type.

Apparently, powdered Mineral products are best applied using a medium fluff brush such as a bronzing, polishing, blush and contouring brush.
Puffs are not recommended... It's the type of finish the product gives that makes it work well with a brush. ![]()
