well, if you dont feel like spending 50bucks on primer you could try somthing from monistat. called, anti-chafing gel-powder. if you look at the ingredients list, you will find it has the main ingredients most of the high end primers do! including smash box. i use it every day, and it gives my skin a soft and smooth base for foundation.

While I'm an admitted MAC addict my favorite primer is Photo Finish by Smashbox. It makes my skin feel so smooth and my make-up lasts longer

I'm currently using Smashbox Photofinish - I like it enough - but I heard Laura Mercier's is much better - so I think once I finish with this bottle I will try that.
A more cost effective alternative would be great though! |

That's the one I've heard the most rave reviews on, too.

I definatelt agree Smashbox Photo Finish Primer! It even help fill in the little pores. If you don't want to pay full price try eBay. Just check out how much it really is on it's own site before you buy from eBay, soooo many women pay more on eBay for things than if they would just buy them from their own website or even Sephora.

To Suhaida13, Smashbox has a couple corrective primers, I believe they are just slightly different things, you just have to find which one you like, and remember that you always think you look worse than you actually do! I bet that just a primer would be great for you. I doubt you need that many corrections at all. I once had a male friend that was over at my house while I was picking at myself in a magnifying mirror. He looked into it once and said it's no wonder you girls are always so uptight about the way you look, you see so much crap in this that people don't see otherwise! I tryuly believe him and haven't used one since! LOL~Angie

You say that primers are silicone based. I had a concealer once that made my skin go flaky and horrible all over. I discovered it was because of the silicone in it, and that my skin's sensitive to it. Should I avoid primers then, or do some not contain silicone [in large amounts]?
