I read about this cool little gadget in a cosmetics blog:

And from there I went on to a VERY intersting article on Rachel Ray about the amazing amount of GERMS on the bottoms of our purses! Yikes!

Think about this, we go into a restaurant, sit down at the table, and where do we put our purse?
On the floor.

Now, we'd NEVER put our purse on the floor of a public restroom, right? But, where do you think the shoes have been of the person who sat in that chair just before you sat there? Yuck!

Any way, I'm going to be ordering one of these for myself and probably one for my mom (because I always share the really cool stuff with my mom!)

We had a product brought out a while back, word of warning never leave the purse on the outside of the table hanging to many snatch and grabs.
Always inside close to wall.

My very old aunt gave me a purse holder that had to be 75 years old. It has mother of pearl inlaid on the part that goes on the table. I thought that was a neat idea back in the days when people didn't look to grab your purse. I don't think I'd use it in today's world, but it is a neat little gadget.

I always keep mine behind me or between myself and the wall, wherever it's not just right out there in the open to be grabbed.
