Blackheads & dry skin.

I have blackheads on my nose. Does anyone know of any products that make them disappear? Or any natural remedies? Any help at all would be very much appreciated.

However, I have an oily nose but everywhere else on my face is extremely dry, therefore I can't use any harsh products on my skin I guess.

Also, I've started getting dry flakes of skin on my cheeks and around the gap between my eyebrows. How can I prevent this?

It's a bit of a bum to be honest.
Blackheads have been on my nose since I was about eleven years old and didn't know what they were (:

One remedy another forum suggested was bicarbonate of soda and water pastes. This makes my skin soft and lovely, yes, but the blackheads only seem to disappear/fade for about five minutes \:

Biore Nose Strips are your magic answer. And use a moisturizer made for dry skin and don't put any on your nose.

yes dear nose strips for removing blackheads is good, but again they dont help u permanantly as you have to use those strips after every 10 days or 15 days.Some people prefere to take steam and with a cotton wool or a blackhead removing tool, they take out the blackheads.As you said that you also have oily skin in patches you can Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This will leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne.
home made facial masks are really good, for the prevention of blackheads, Mix groundnut oil with an equal amtount of fresh lime juice and apply on face. leave for 10-15 minutes and wash. I think that to really get rid of blackheads you gotta follow a routine.

Regular facials (if you can't afford to get regular professional treatments), just use steam and clean your pores of the blackheads, and don't forget to use a good tonic to close your pores afterwards.

also the body shop's tea-tree products might be helpful.
