I have acne scarring too, and have had major issues with my skin in the past. The best thing I've come by is Alpha-H products as they use glycolic acid to gently refine your skin. The only problem is that your skin becomes sensitive to the sun and will therefore need extra SPF.
Aside from skincare, a good foundation (Laura Gellar/Prescriptives/Armani) and a good concealer should do the trick (if not theatre makeup can work wonders, but can be a little heavy.) Primers (Spackle) and discolouration correctors will also help to even out the texture of your skin and balance the tone.

Hope I was of some use,

Jae.

As a side note, there are products out there that gently lighten the pigments in your skin. SK-II skincare does a lot of those, as do many other brands, but unfortunately they come at a hefty price - usually.

You can also use vitamin e oil to help fade the redness.

Vitamin E or rosehip oil is good for fading scars.
Sun tanning will also help make them less visable.

I take zinc tablets, they're full of vitamin e and helps repair and mantain skin.
