Hi friends,
This is my first post. I am a 21 year old male. I am a south indian with a wheatish brown skin complexion. But my Butt, hip, the back of my neck, and knee caps are very dark in complexion and dry when compared to the rest of my skin. Also there is this dark colored round-belt like patch around my hips. some say its because of frequent rubbing of the skin with cloth. I didnt have this condition when i was young. Also my fore-head skin seems to be slightly darker than the my rest of my face. I have been noticing this change in my forehead color only for the past 3 months. I have been using only a skin moisturizing cream for the past 6 months i took no other treatments. Any natural treatment ( not with complex ingredients ) and on-the-counter treatments, which would help regain my skin back are welcome. |

First off see your doctor right away. I am no doctor, but I've done some research, and based on your description of your symptoms, you might have a more serious health condition that's manifesting itself in these dry, dark skin patches. You can use all the skin whiteners, body exfoliators, moisturizers in the world, But that is only going to mask the symptoms, not make it go away. Notice that you've been using a moisturizer for 6 months, yet your condition has been worsening within the last 3 months. Sadly, it's only going to get worse without medical treatment. See your doctor.

I would recommend seeing your dermatologist.
